1/35 Tiger-1 Early Production Pz.Kpfw.VI,Ausf.E Wittmann's Command Tiger

Full set of Michael Wittmann crew
(5 figures) included in first production run as BONUS!

You can't afford to miss it!

Hauptsturmfuhrer Michael Wittmann was one of Germany's highest-scoring tank aces of WWII, with the credited destruction of 138 tanks and 132 anti-tank guns. He cut his teeth on the Eastern Front with a StuG.III, and later he took command of a Tiger I in time for combat during Operation Citadel at Kursk in July 1943. Dragon has created a magnificent representation of Wittmann's Tiger I (turret number 'S04') with 88 kill marks on barrel. Dragon's kit appropriately portrays an Early-Production variant, and it forms the important and much-anticipated last piece of Dragon's exemplary Tiger I family.

This awesome plastic kit made precisely to 1/35 scale shows Wittmann's Tiger I with 88 kill marks on the lethal 8.8cm gun barrel. These painted barrel rings illustrated the power of the Tiger I as well as the skill of tank ace Wittmann. This brand new kit stems from thorough research and it's thus accurately designed to represent Wittmann's 'S04' mount. To ensure the absolute highest levels of quality, the majority of components in this special release, like turret, upper hull, engine deck, rear panel, road wheels, spare tracks and etc, are newly tooled and engineered to achieve the engineering level of a Smart Kit, and to provide the unique appearance of this famous Tiger. Morever, a full set of Michael Wittmann's crew is included in first production run as a BONUS!

1/700 U.S.S. Zumwalt DDG-1000 Zumwalt Class Destroyer

The US Navy's (USN) pending new guided-missile destroyer class looks like something entirely out of a science fiction movie. Known as the Zumwalt class (Admiral Elmo Zumwalt was the youngest officer ever to serve as Chief of Naval Operations, and he led the USN during the time of the Vietnam War), it features a wave-piercing hull and sleek form to reduce its radar cross-section.The first-of-class USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000) was launched in October 2013 and she's expected to reach initial operating capability in 2016 at a cost of about $1.4 billion. Only three 14,654-ton Zumwalt-class destroyers will be built by General Dynamics. With a crew of 142, USS Zumwalt will reach speeds of 30.3 knots. Her armament includes 20 MK 57 VLS missile modules, two 155mm guns and two Mk 46 30mm cannons, plus she will carry two SH-60 helicopters and three MQ-8 Fire Scout unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).

1/72 Apollo 17 "The Last J-Mission" CSM + LM + Lunar Rover

NASA's Apollo space program successfully placed man on the Moon, but a number of other missions followed even after this milestone had been achieved. The final mission was Apollo 17, the sixth flight to the Moon's surface. (Interestingly, it is also the last time man landed on the Moon). Apollo 17 blasted off from the Kennedy Space Center on 7 December 1972 and landed in the Taurus-Littrow valley in order to sample lunar highland material. The Lunar Module (LM) christened Challenger contained the program's third Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV), which enabled the astronauts to explore during the three-day J-type mission. Eventually the lunar ascent module docked with the orbiting Command/Service Module (CSM) named America before heading home.
Dragon is proud to offer a full set model kits representing this important and final Apollo mission. A newly tooled LRV is included. It's accurately made to 1/72 scale and is beautifully detailed. The LRV is made even more eye-catching by the fact that an astronaut can sit behind the wheel as he explores his authentic-looking diorama base. Indeed, the inclusion of the CSM, LM and an additional astronaut makes for an amazing scene. It's incredible that so much can fit inside a single box, but each item has been carefully molded. Furthermore, pre-painted parts for the reflective-surfaces of the descent module are available in Dragon's first production. Now collectors can relive the final Apollo mission!
